Deputy Minister of Economy Dariusz Bogdan and Mona Dermarkar, a representative of Pratt & Whitney Canada, signed December 8th this year Annex 1 to the new Offset Agreement concluded between the government of Poland and the Canadian company, December 10th 2008. The contract value will rise to 25.84 million dollars.

Changes in formal-legal part of the Annex 1 of the new Offset Agreement consisted of:

- taking into account the value of the supply of armaments or military equipment originating from Pratt & Whitney Canada Corporation,

- including an offset agreement for the supply of engines, training aircraft PZL-130 Orlik TC-II, intended for the Polish Armed Forces,

- taking account of new contracting party -  EADS-PZL "Warszawa Okecie" SA.

New offset obligation was added to the contract covering the implementation by the Warsaw University of Technology of advanced research on combustion gas generators used in gas turbine engines. (Source: Ministry of Economy)
